ABOUT DR. CHRISTINE VACCARO
Urogynecologist & Sexual Medicine Specialist
Dr. Christine Vaccaro is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist with a subspecialty in female pelvic medicine with advanced training in sexual medicine.
Dr. Vaccaro is currently accepting female patients for appointments starting in September 2024.
Dr. Vaccaro graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point 1999, with a major in Chemistry/Life Sciences, Nuclear Engineering Track.
She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
from the University of North Texas
Health Science Center, Texas.
She completed her residency training at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA and her Urogynecology fellowship at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, OH.
She received advanced training under Dr. Rachel Rubin in sexual medicine in 2024.
Dr. Vaccaro’s special interests include:
clinical and surgical management of pelvic floor disorders (e.g. urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse)
female sexual dysfunction (e.g. low libido, arousal disorder, anorgasmia)
and female sexual pain disorders (e.g. vulvodynia, bladder pain syndrome, high tone pelvic floor, vaginal dryness).
She is also skilled in managing sexual dysfunction and menopausal symptom management.
Like all doctors at the practice, Dr. Vaccaro deeply cares about sexual health. She is brilliant, caring, compassionate and wants to take the necessary time to work with patients to find the most effective care plan.
Dr. Vaccaro is passionate about women’s pelvic health and sexuality, as it is integral in the clinical and surgical management of vaginal support treatments and overall quality of life.
Outside of clinic hours, Dr. Vaccaro has two children in middle and high school with lots of sporting activities to keep them all busy! When she has a free moment she enjoys walking her labradoodle or sweating in hot yoga.
